Astrological Sign Libra
The seventh astrological sign in the zodiac is Libra. Originating from the constellation of Libra, this astrological sign is considered to be a positive sign, “masculine”. As one of the four cardinal sign, Libra is also considered to be an air sign. The planet Venus, which is the ruler of Taurus, also is the ruler of this astrological sign. According to the tropical zodiac, also widely known as the western astrology, individuals who are born from September 23 to October 23 are considered to be Libra individuals. Since Libra is the seventh astrological star sign, it is associated with the 7th astrological house. Libra individuals in the 7th astrological house are associated with beauty and looks, agreements and treaties, marriage, relationships and business partners, and also open wars and enemies. The astrological symbol which represents Libra is The Scales of Balance, the only inanimate (neither an animal nor a person) symbol in the zodiac.
There are several myths which are associated with the astrological star sign, Libra. The Greek myths have associated Libra with Themis, the goddess of justice. Astraea, daughter of Themis, is also associated with Libra. Greco-Roman goddesses such as Venus/Aphrodite, Discordia/Eris, Freyja and Frigg, Ishta, and Aztec god Xolotl are all associated with Libra.
There are several characteristics, personality and physical traits which each of the astrological star sign possess that identify themselves. For Libra individuals, they are elegant and graceful, romantic, flirty but loyal in marriage, charming, idealistic in relationships, cooperative, and gentle. They too possess physical traits such as having a high forehead, refined features, graceful figure, a ‘trademark’ dimple, and a charming appearance. A Libra individual would possess some or all of these traits and characteristics that are mentioned.
It is not advisable for one to ask a Libra to shut up and be quiet. Asking them to be quiet is almost equivalent to shutting them away from their connection with humanity. An ugly lifestyle would most probably throw Libra individuals off their tracks. Acts such as violence and arguments are detestable by Libra individuals. Peace and harmony, and their innate sense of beauty flows in their blood on the day they were born. Nothing and no one can stop them from achieving the world which they desire to live in. To maintain a great family relationship, Libra individuals will go to extreme lengths to achieve that. During any family argument, it is not surprising for a Libra in the family to suddenly jump right in and stop the arguments. They will take the initiative to tell everyone to do the right thing to achieve a situation where everyone wins.
